It makes me laugh even before I start writing this post, thinking what my lil sis will do to me when she reads this..
Yes its about her.
when she was in nursery.. new in our school, she was to take part in a fancy dress competition..
she wanted to become a peacock.. but knew a poem on tomatoes very well. So we all discussed with her and decided to make her a tomato. We got her tomato costume on rent and revised her poem with her..
ek tamatar laal laal
jaise mere laal gaal(she really had rosy cheeks)
hum bhi khaayein
tum bhi khao..
ho jayein sab laal laal…
the day arrives.. and charushi realizes she liked the peacock dress a lot more.. anyway we explained to her and wished our lil red tomato luck..
in school.. I was the prefect so sneaked in the auditorium with some silly excuse to see her perform..
“and now we have, charushi, as the red red tomato!”
(Ohh she’s so cute)
But she was unhappy about the dress.. and refused to speak a word..
So the teacher asked her to at least 'thank the audience'.. oh how happy she was. THANK YOU and off she ran!!
Moral of the story:
if your sis wants to be a peacock, don’t make her a tomato!!
